Perilli Named Player of the Year, Seven Blue Jays Named Landmark All-Conference

TOWSON, Md.-- The Elizabethtown baseball team once again loaded the Landmark All-Conference selections with seven. Etown earns back-to-back Player of the Year nods as sophomore, Quinten Perilli earned the honor this season. 

Kyle Mulville, David Woolley, Mason Woolwine, and Perilli were named to the first team. Zach Silfies and AJ Bednar were named to the second team while RJ Agriss was named honorable mention. 

Perilli earns his second career all-conference nod while earning Player of the Year after being named the Confernce's Rookie of the Year last season. The utility player lead the conference in runs scored (56) and slugging percentage (.708) while starting in 41 of the Blue Jays' 43 games. He also finished top-10 in the conference in batting average (.351) and hits (54). Perilli helped the Blue Jays reach the Landmark Conference Championship as the top seed. This season Perilli reached 100 hits and 100 RBIs on his career. 

Mulville also earns his second straight all-conference nod as he was named to the first team as a starting pitcher. Mulville led the conference in innings pitched (69.0) and wins (8). 

Woolley returns to the all-conference first team at the shortstop position as he was third in the conference in batting average (.392) , fourth in on base percentage (0.498), second in runs scored (52), and first in hits (69). Woolley recorded his 100th career hit earlier this seaosn. 

Woolwine rounds out the first team for the Blue Jays as he makes his first appearance. Woolwine was eighth in the conference in hits (54) while also being in the top-20 of several more categories. The sophomore held a .344 batting average, totaled 35 runs, and 33 RBIs. 

Bednar earns his first career all-conference nod as he was named to the second team in the outfielder position. Bednar was eighth in the conference in RBIs (38) and ninth in hits (54). The senior also scored 35 runs, hit nine doubles, and two triples. Bednar reached 100 hits and 100 RBIs on his career this season. 

Silfies makes his third straight apperance on the all-conference team as a relief pitcher. The graduate student was third in the Landmark in batters struck out (59) and wins (7). He was first in saves in the conference with six. This season Silfies reached 200 career strikeouts. 

Agriss rounds out the Blue Jays making his first appearance after being named to the honorable mention team. Agriss totaled 38 hits, scored 22 runs, and recorded nine doubles and 25 RBIs.
