BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College softball team dropped a pair of games at Moravian on Tuesday. The Greyhounds beat the Blue Jays 9-1 and then 12-0 with both games ending in five innings.
Jenna Davis drove in Etown's lone run of the day.
Moravian jumped ahead 7-0 after three innings in game before Elizabethtown could get on the board. That came on Davis' sac fly to center field to score
Kristen Aydelotte. Aydelotte, Davis,
Sarah Birner and
Haley Nedo recorded hits in the game one loss.
The Blue Jays did not record a hit off of Natalie Otto in game two as they were shut out 12-0.
Elizabethtown is scheduled to host Lebanon Valley on Thursday, April 11, however the teams are looking to reschedule the doubleheader with the impending forecast showing rain. Stay tuned to etownbluejays.com for updated schedule information.
