GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Looking for their first win of the season, the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team eyed Wednesday night's game at Stockton as their chance get that first victory. The Ospreys denied the Blue Jays their win as they beat Etown 18-12 on a rainy night. 
Tristan Coleman had a team-high six points in the game.
Down 2-0, the Elizabethtown (0-3) got in sync to close out the first quarter. Gavin GIsmondi found 
Connor Stewart unguarded on the near side by the goal for the easy catch-and-release goal. Coleman recorded his first assist of the contest when he found a cutting 
Nolan Krasnick down the heart of the defense to tie the game at 2-2 with his first goal in an Etown uniform.
Colin Kondracki spun off two defenders to get in on goal and beat the goalie one-on-one to give the Jays the lead. 
Finn Kristan followed with his first career goal as Kondracki drew the defense down low to free up some space that Kristan stepped into and ripped a shot to put EC ahead 4-2.
Coleman finished out the quarter with a pass behind the back of the net to Stewart on the backside and he beat the goalie to cap off Elizabethtown's 5-2 run and they led by three going into the second.
Stockton (4-0) held the Blue Jays scoreless in the second as they mounted their comeback and took a 7-5 lead into halftime.
Reese Levinson got Etown back within one with the first goal of the second half to make it a 7-6 game, but they were just unable to catch up and overtake the Ospreys on their home turf.
Gismondi scored a man up and Kondracki added two more to complete his hat trick by the end of the third.
Kondracki, Coleman and Krasnick scored fourth-quarter goals for the Jays. 
Brayden Franey made 14 saves in the game.
Elizabethtown will host St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m.
