Men's lacrosse bounces back to earn Landmark win at Lycoming

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team bounced back from Wednesday night's loss at Stevenson to earn a Landmark Conference win at Lycoming on Friday. The Blue Jays had 12 different goal scorers and won big, 18-2. Colin Kondracki and Ryan Flanegan each had hat tricks while Riley Langen had a game-high five points in the win.

Elizabethtown (4-5, 2-0 Landmark) led 3-0 through 10 minutes of play as Kondracki, Flanegan and Langen each had goals to get the Blue Jays rolling. Langen assisted on the first two while Tristan Coleman assisted on Langen's lone goal of the game. Lycoming (2-4, 0-2 Landmark) scored late in the first, but Reese Levinson got that one back for Etown with 32 seconds to go in the opening period as they led 4-1 after one.

The Blue Jays shut down the Warriors over the second and third quarters, holding Lyco scoreless for 30 minutes-plus of game action. Elizabethtown scored 15 unanswered goals until Joey Hoover provided Lycoming its final goal with under two minutes in regulation.

Flanegan (2), Lucca Scomillio, Kondracki, Coleman and Colin Johnson each scored in the second quarter for the Jays as they outscored the hosts, 6-0.

Then, in the third, it was a 5-0 advantage in goals for EC as Kondracki (UP), Krasnick, Gavin Gismondi, Brent Wehland and Finn Kristan tallied.

Kristan led off the fourth with his second of the day. Eric Zadroga scored the first of his career less than a minute after Kristan's and Johnson put up his second of the afternoon, a man up, to cap off the scoring for Elizabethtown.

TJ Chapman was 10-for-12 on face-offs. Graham Temple won 3-of-5 and Chance MIlhorn was 2-for-2. Evan Youndt and Connor Stewart each caused two turnovers for the Jays. Brayden Franey made four saves in goal to get the win. Christian Schrader played the fourth quarter, making three saves in his first collegiate action for Etown.

The Blue Jays will host Juniata on Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m.
