OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team had their two-game win streak snapped Wednesday night at Stevenson. The Mustangs handled the Blue Jays, 16-4.
It was the low scoring first quarter combined as the game entered the second at 1-0 in favor of Stevenson (4-5). From there, it was all Mustangs on the scoreboard.
Stevenson tallied the first four goals of the second quarter and had five unanswered to start the game before
Alex Kilgour connected with
Nolan Krasnick for Elizabethtown's (3-5) first and only goal of the half. The Mustangs led 7-1 at halftime after posting six in the second period of play.
Etown was limited again in the third as only
Connor Stewart was able to score for the Jays.
Gavin Gismondi scored twice in the fourth quarter.
Reese Levinson assisted on one of the senior's two goals.
The Blue Jays will remain on the road Friday, March 29, at Lycoming for a 1 p.m. Landmark Conference matchup.
