SCRANTON, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's basketball edged Scranton, 77-76 in their final game of the season, Saturday.
Rance Russo led the team with 15 points and three assists.
EJ Finney recorded a double-double of 14 points and ten rebounds.
Dylan Rowe added 13 points and four rebounds.
Elizabethtown started off the game with a 6-2 lead over Scranton following two Rowe buckets.
Reese Ziegler sunk two consecutive three's to extend Etown's lead, 12-5. Two Russo 3-pointers sandwiched a Ziegler three to bring out the Blue Jays lead by ten points about midway through the half. The Royals gained some momentum to come within three of Etown with eight minutes remaining. The Blue Jays led, 31-27 with four minutes left in the half as Finney made a layup. With the help from

Ben Stanton, Elizabethtown led 43-32 at halftime.
Within the first four minutes of the second half, Elizabethtown jumped to a 15 point lead after three straight layups. Etown then slipped to a seven-point gap after buckets from
Austin Finarelli and Russo. Scranton kept fighting back but with seven minutes remaining the Blue Jays continued to lead, 66-59. The Royals made a jumper to cut Etown's lead to 68-64. Through the end of the game the two traded points keeping it close as Finarelli sealed the win with a free-throw.
