BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's soccer team avenged their regular season loss at Moravian by taking out the Greyhounds Tuesday night 2-0 to move on to Thursday's Landmark semifinal.

While they were outshot on the night, two of Elizabethtown's three shots on goal found the back of the net.

In the 34th minute, Hudson Peck's corner kick found Thomas Smith near goal and the junior put home his second of the season to give the Blue Jays the 1-0 lead.

Just over five minutes later, Aidan Valentine's second of the year made it 2-0 for Etown. They led 2-0 at the half.

Moravian pushed for a goal, sending more players forward throughout the second half as they tried to get a goal back, but between the Jays' defense and goalie Pedro Miranda making a few key saves when called upon, Elizabethtown withstood wave after wave of the Greyhounds' attacks.

Miranda made saves in the 69th and 75th minutes to keep Moravian scoreless.

The Blue Jays will head back to Catholic on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
