TOWSON, Md.-- The Elizabethtown women's tennis team dropped their second Landmark Conference match of the season as they fell, 8-1 at Goucher.
Olivia Richards and Hayley Bishop picked up the lone win at no. 1 doubles, edging the Gophers, 8-6. At no. 2 doubles,
Kaylee Mustard and
Gabriella Palladini fell, 8-1 and at no. 3 doubles,
Morgan Bleicher and
Adriana Burmeister fell, 8-2.
In singles play at no. 1, Richards dropped her sets, 6-1, 6-1 and Bishop also fell, 6-1, 6-1 at no. 2 singles. At no. 3 singles, Palladini had a close first set but was edged, 6-4, 6-1. Mustard fell, 6-2, 6-1 at no. 4 singles, Bleicher fell, 6-0, 6-3 at no. 5 singles, and
Katie Balzano fell, 6-1, 6-1 at no. 6 singles.
The Blue Jays play a non-conference match at Immaculata, Saturday September 30.
