ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- Elizabethtown baseball graduate student, Joey Thomas was named to the 2023 College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. 

By making the All-District team, Thomas will advance to the CSC Academic All‐America® ballot. First‐, second and third‐team Academic All‐ America® honorees will be announced June 7.To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 GFP, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve. 

Thomas a three-time Landmark Conference Academic honor roll member, appeared in 22 games this season while making five starts. The graduate student, totaled seven runs, six hits, one double, one triple and four RBIs. Thomas recorded a season-high two hits vs. Monmouth (Ill.) (3/5). 

Off the field, Thomas is obtaining is master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Leadership.
