D3hoops.com All-Region 5 Team

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --
There were plenty of firsts this season for the Elizabethtown College women's basketball, and on Tuesday, the Blue Jays added another one to that list. Sophomores Summer McNulty and DaniRae Renno became the first pair of teammates in program history to be named D3hoops.com All-Region in the same season. McNulty was named First Team while Renno earned Second Team honors, the first of their careers.

Already named All-Landmark Conference First Team selections, McNulty and Renno took it another step for Elizabethtown. They are the fifth and sixth different players for the Blue Jays to earn all-region accolades from D3hoops.

The duo helped lead Etown to a WBCA national ranking for nine consecutive weeks during the season and the first back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances since the mid-90s.

McNulty pumped in 24 points and Renno notched another double-double for the Jays in their First Round victory over No. 21 Stevens on March 3, their first NCAA win since 2001.

Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region are eligible for All-America selection. The women's All-America team will be announced on a weekday between the March 18 semifinals and April 1 title game in Dallas.
