ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's basketball team had three student-athletes named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District. Junior
Jessica King and sophomores
Summer McNulty and
DaniRae Renno represent the Blue Jays on the 2023 Division III All-District Team.
King, McNulty, and Renno have all contributed to the success for Elizabethtown this season, including the program's best start since 1986-87. Etown closed out the regular season 11-3 in the Landmark Conference to earn the number two seed in playoffs, which begin tonight when they host Catholic at 7 p.m.
Their success on the court is mirrored by their success in the classroom for the Blue Jays as each have maintained stellar grade point averages. All three will be Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll selections, the second for King and the first for McNulty and Renno.
Being named to the All-District Team automatically forwards their names onto the national ballot where voting will take place over the next week to select the CSC Academic All-America Teams, which will be announced on March 14.
King, McNulty, and Renno have started all 24 games for Elizabethtown this season.
