BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College women's soccer team went to Moravian and upset the Greyhounds in their Landmark quarterfinal matchup Tuesday night as the Blue Jays scored twice in the second half to get win No. 50 for head coach
Amy Hough.
Elizabethtown (6-8-3) flipped the script this time after having had a lead at Moravian in the regular season before the Greyhounds stormed back to win 3-2.
Moravian (8-5-4) took a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute and went into the half still ahead by a goal.
The Blue Jays came alive in the second half as
Maddie McWhinney registered her fifth goal of the season with help from
Liz Norton in the 56th minute to level the match at 1-1.
10 minutes later, it was Norton's first goal that put Etown into the lead with a little under 25 minutes remaining.
Adrienne McGallicher made two saves over the final 10 minutes to keep the Jays' lead as they held on to advance to Thursday's semifinal where they'll play at Scranton.
