SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- 90 minutes wasn't enough to decide a winner between the Elizabethtown College men's soccer team and Susquehanna on Saturday.
Kelvin Del Cid made four saves for the Blue Jays in the draw while
Ryan Hepler had a team-high three shots.
Elizabethtown (2-4-2, 0-0-1 LC) had the offensive advantage in the first half, outshooting the River Hawks 6-2 through 45 minutes.
The first three chances for the Jays were blocked before Hepler had the team's first on goal in the 19th minute. Etown's defense didn't allow a shot on target in the first half to Susquehanna (0-5-3, 0-0-1 LC).
Del Cid was needed nearly 20 minutes into the second half as he made two saves in a minute span to keep the same scoreless. He also made one late, in the 84th minute, to preserve the draw and the point for Elizabethtown.
The Jays will travel to Lebanon Valley on Wednesday, September 28, and face off with the Dutchmen at 4 p.m.
