ATLANTA, Ga. -- Veronica Christ achieved another first for the Elizabethtown College women's basketball program, becoming the first athlete to earn All-America honors from multiple organizations after the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) named the graduate student an All-America Honorable Mention on Tuesday. Christ made the D3hoops.com All-America Third Team a few days ago.

Christ is the eighth different player for the Blue Jays to earn All-America honors from the WBCA and the first since Nancy Keene in 1988-89. It is the 13th All-America honor overall for the women's basketball program, with two of those belonging to Christ.

Kenedy Schoonveld of the national champions, Hope College, was named the 2022 WBCA NCAA Division III National Player of the Year.
