ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's volleyball team remained undefeated on the year, topping Eastern (3-0) and Drew (3-1) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.
With the two wins, the Blue Jays improve to 6-0 on the season. The six-straight wins to start the year is the best start in program history.

Blake Hildebrand combined on the day to hit .500 with 24 total kills. Classmate
Tony Camillo had 11 block assists between the two matches, including a career-high seven against Eastern. Junior
Steve Swain put away 19 kills against the two teams and sophomore
Nate Seeger combined for 54 assists.
Down on in the first (5-4), the Etown rattled off five-straight points, highlighted by an ace by freshman
Kyle McKiernan and a kill from Seeger, to take a 9-5 lead. The Blue Jays continued to surge, pushing its lead to 15-9 after an ace by Swain, but the Eagles responded with three consecutive points to cut its deficit to three (15-12). Eastern continued to fight, closing within one at 16-15 and the again at 17-16. That, however, would be as close as the Eagles would get, as Etown closed on an 8-2 run, capped off by a block from Swain and Camillo, to take the opening stanza 25-18.
After a back-and-forth start to the second set, Eastern rattled of three consecutive points to take 15-14 lead. The Blue jays answered with four consecutive points of their own highlighted by two blocks, a kill from Hildebrand and an ace from McKiernan, to take a 18-15 lead. The Eagles would creep within one three more times but Etown would fend them off, scoring five of the final eight points, for the 25-22 win and 2-0 advantage.
The Blue Jays left little down in the final set, hitting .417 as a team to complete its third sweep of the season, 25-17.
After winning the first two sets against Drew in dominating fashion, 25-10 and 25-14, the Rangers to take the third set 25-19. Etown, however, would not allow the match to go five, opening up a four point advantage (11-7) in the fourth with a 6-0 run behind two blocks and two kills by McKiernan for the 17-7 lead. That was all the cushion the Blue Jays would need, rolling to a 25-11 victory in the fourth and its second win of the day, 3-1.
Etown hits the road and heas to Alvernia on Wednesday, February 9. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
