SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's basketball team fell to Susquehanna, 97-72, in its season finale Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the Blue Jays finish the year 8-16 overall and 3-11 in Landmark play, while the Riverhawks move to 21-4 on the season and 13-1 in the league.

Sophomore Jared Archer came off the bench to lead Elizabethtown, finishing the night with 15 points. Junior Dylan Rowe and Rance Russo each scored 10 points for the Blue Jays with Rowe tying fifth year senior Ryan Fitzpatrick for most rebounds on the team with five.

Redshirt junior Dominic Dunn and senior Lukas Yurasits paced Susquehanna registering 20 point apiece.

Tied at 12 with 13:39 remaining in the first half, Archer completed a three point play followed by a layup from Gorham to take a 15-12 lead with 12:21 on the clock. The Riverhawks took the lead once again, but Fitzpatrick found Green for two, tying the score once again at 21 with just under 9:15 to play. Susquehanna, however, took control of the half and game, going on a 29-10 run to end the half and take a 50-29 lead heading into the locker room.

The Riverhawks pushed its advantage to as many as 35 in the second half, locking up the one seed in next week's Landmark Conference Tournament with the 97-72 victory.

The Blue Jays shot 27-55 (49.1%) from the floor and made 30% (3-16) from beyond the arc. Susquehanna finished the game 36-74 (48.6%) overall and made 7-23 (30.4%) from three.
