2021-22 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Elizabethtown College women's basketball standout Veronica Christ is the first player in program history to earn multiple CoSIDA Academic All-District selections after being named First Team on Thursday. She was a First Team honoree for 2020-21.

Christ has been a driving force behind the Blue Jays' 19-4 record and a major factor in Elizabethtown's ability to capture the No. 2 seed in the Landmark Conference, which they did last night after beating nationally-ranked Catholic for the second time this season.

The graduate student, who came back to play during her fifth year as an Occupational Therapy major, has continued to excel in the program and earned her spot on the District 4 First Team. The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

First Team honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America selections will be announced in March.
