Miller Selected as Landmark Senior Scholar Athlete

TOWSON, Md.-- Elizabethtown women's volleyball senior, Bryanna Miller was selected as the Landmark Conference Volleyball Senior Scholar Athlete on Wednesday, capping a standout career with the Blue Jays.

One of the conference's most distinguished awards, Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes exhibit excellence in their respective sports, in the classroom and in the community.

Miller a two-time second team all-conference selection (19, 21) and first team all-conference selection (22) surpassed 1,000 career kills this season with 1,019. During her career she was also named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week and earned a spot on the Landmark Academic Honor Roll twice. Miller set career-highs in service aces (56) and block assists (30) this season while also totaling 315 kills and 301 digs on the season. 

The outside hitter, wrapped up her career ninth in kills, fourth in kills per set (3.36), eighth in digs per set (3.16), tenth in aces (156), and third in aces per set (0.51) in Etown program history. 

Off the court, Miller is a Biology major with a concentration in Allied Health and holds a 3.70 GPA. Miller is a member of Tri-Beta and Alpha Lambda Delta. The Lancaster, Pa. native received the Emergent Scholar Award in her sophomore year and has earned the biology department achievement certificate the past three years. She is also in the honors program and has made deans list. Outside of the classroom, Miller is a tour guide for admissions, tutors for anatomy and organic chemistry and is a SAAC representative. Miller is also a Hidden Opponent Campus Captain and worked at Masonic Village as a CNA last year. 

Miller is the second Elizabethtown women's volleyball player to earn the award as Mackenzie Garner earned the award in 2019.
