2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- For the second straight year, the Elizabethtown College women's basketball program had a player named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team. Senior
Veronica Christ earned the honor for the Blue Jays as one of five selections for District 4.
Christ, an occupational therapy major at Elizabethtown College, is the lone representative from the Landmark Conference to make the list in District 4, which is limited to only PA institutions of Division III. The Jays' leading scorer back in 2019-20, Christ was also the Landmark's Women's Basketball Senior Scholar Athlete.
She joins
Lydia Lawson as the only two women's basketball players to earn the distinction. After being named to the first team, Christ will automatically advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First, second, and third-team selections will be announced in late May.
The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
