GAME ONE: ELIZABETHTOWN 3 MORAVIAN 2

In what would turn into a pitching duel, Etown found a run in the bottom of the second to start the scoring. With two outs, Thomas reached first after being hit by a pitch. Bertucio took advantage of this baserunner and laced a triple down the left field line, scoring Thomas all the way from first and giving the Blue Jays a 1-0 lead.

After the Greyhounds scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Etown wasted little time answering the bottom of the inning. With one out and Bertucio on second, Fisher laced a triple down the left field line, plating the tying run. Senior JT Thompson then knocked a sacrifice fly to left field, bringing Fisher around to score, giving the Blue Jays a 3-2 advantage.

That was all the run support Dunbar needed as he went the distance for Etown, leading the Blue Jays to their 10th win of the season, 3-2.

Dunbar (1-0) scattered six hits over nine innings allowing two unearned runs and striking out eight. It is the third time this season the senior has tallied eight strikeouts.

Freshman David Ciaccio (2-2) also pitched a complete game for Moravian, giving three runs on four hits while striking out six.

GAME TWO: ELIZABETHTOWN 9 MORAVIAN 1

Elizabethtown scored early and often in game two starting in the bottom of the second inning. With one out and a runner on second, Thomas stepped in and slapped a single to left field, scoring McGonigle and giving the Blue Jays an early 1-0 lead.

The floodgates opened in the bottom of third as Etown took advantage of an error by the Greyhounds' with two outs, plating five runs in the inning. Highlighting the run was RBI's from sophomore Ben Watson, McGonigle, senior Arley Shepherd, Thomas and senior Dylan Everly.

The Blue Jays put the game out of reach with three more runs in the bottom of the fifth, going ahead 9-0. Moravian could only muster one run in the top of the seventh as Etown closed out the Sunday sweep with a 9-1 victory.

Senior Reece Jones started game two, pitching two scoreless innings and giving up one hit. Classmate Kelly Holdren (5-0) earned the win in relief, going four innings and allowing no runs on three hits and striking out seven. Holdren remains the Division III leader with a 0.00 ERA.
