BALTIMORE, Md. – The Elizabethtown College men's tennis team picked up a season-high three matches before falling to Goucher, 6-3, Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference action.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 0-3 on the year while the Gophers improve to 3-0.
Etown scored two victories in singles, as sophomore
Justin Brown notched his first victory of the season, a 6-2, 6-4 decision over freshman Josh Pluard at #5. Freshman
Chris Talluto earned his first collegiate victory at #6, a 6-0, 7-5 win over freshman Alex Dominguez.
Recording the final point of the day for the Blue Jays were junior
Brock Culver and Talluto at #3 doubles, topping Dominguez and Pluard 8-1.
Elizabethtown returns home tomorrow, April 11 for a match against the Catholic Cardinals. Opening serve is set for 12 p.m.
