ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College women's volleyball team fell to #9 Juniata, 3-0, Saturday afternoon but locked up the two seed in next week's Landmark Conference Tournament.
With the loss, the Blue Jays finish the regular season 21-7 overall and 6-1 in league play, while the Eagles move to 26-1 overall and 7-0 in the Landmark.

Sarah Hanks tallied 16 assists and 12 digs while sophomore

Gianna Krinock each finished with three block assists.
Down one early in the opening set, Etown rattled of three consecutive points to take a 9-7 lead highlighted by a kill from Krinock.
Tied at 12, Juniata took control of the first frame, going on a 8-0 run for the eight point advantage (20-12).
The Blue Jays made on final charge to close within six (23-17) after a block from senior
Shelly Yohe and Westman, but the Eagles found the final two points to take the opening set, 25-18.
In the second, Juniata ran out to a 13-7 lead after a kill by Olivia Foley.
Etown bounced back, going on a 5-1 run to close within two at 15-13. Miller and Yohe each had two kills over this rally.
Two points, however, is a close as the Blue Jays would get in the second set as the Eagles took the stanza, 25-18.
In the third and final set, Etown once again found a lead early in the frame as sophomore
Katie Scaggs blasted home an assist from Hanks for the 8-7 advantage.
Juniata, however, once again responded with a 10-1 run for the 17-9 lead on their way to the 25-14 win and the 3-0 sweep of the Blue Jays.
For the first time in program history, Elizabethtown will host a Landmark Conference playoff match as they host #3 Scranton on Wednesday, November 3. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
