TOWSON, Md. -- Elizabethtown College women's volleyball junior Sarah Hanks helped the Blue Jays go 3-1 this past week and also recorded her 1,000th career assist. Hanks was named the Landmark Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week.

Hanks reached the career milestone this past Thursday with her 21st assist against Stevenson. She tallied double-doubles in wins against Penn State Harrisburg (35 assists, 14 digs) and Lycoming (21 assists, 10 digs) and finished the week with 35 or more assists in three of the four matches.

Hanks ranks fourth in the Landmark in assists per set (7.83) and fifth in total assists (517).
