ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown College men's basketball team dropped its midweek tilt with Goucher, 79-67, Wednesday night in Landmark Conference action.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 11-10 overall and 4-7 in league play, while the Gophers improve to 5-17 on the season and 2-9 in the Landmark.

Connor Moffatt tallied his sixth double-double of the season, grabbing a career-high 18 rebounds while scoring 19 points. Freshman

Senior Dwayne Morton led five different Goucher players in double figures finishing with 18 points, shooting 7-13 from the field.
The Gophers quickly ran out to a nine point lead (12-3), as freshman Josh Lichti banged a three with just over four minutes gone in the first half.
Goucher pushed its lead to 14 after Morton completed the three point play from the line, making the score 22-8 with 11:34 on the clock.
The visitors stretched its lead to as many as 15 towards the end of the period, taking a 10 point advantage into the locker room, 36-26.
Elizabethtown came alive to start the second half as sophomore
Zach Nannen found Moffatt for two, making the score 42-37 and forcing a Gophers' timeout with just over 16 minutes remaining.
Goucher responded after its timeout, stretching its lead to 14 with 8:15 remaining in regulation.
The Blue Jays would creep back within six, but could not make it a one possession game, as the Gophers locked up its second conference victory of the season, 79-67.
Elizabethtown finished 22-71 (31%) overall and 6-28 (21.4%) from the three. Goucher shot 50.9% (28-55) from the field and made 42.1% (8-19) from beyond the arc.
The Blue Jays are back in action at home on Saturday, Feb. 15, when they host Drew for Senior Day. Opening tip is set for 4 p.m.
