ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown College Head Men's Basketball Coach,
Britt Moore, earned his 100
th collegiate coaching victory Tuesday night as the Blue Jays topped visiting Lancaster Bible, 78-74, in overtime.
With the win, Elizabethtown pushes its record to 7-4 on the season and extend its winning-streak to four games. The Chargers fall to 2-7 overall.
Moore now has a career record of 100-115 with 22 of those wins coming at Elizabethtown. His 22 victories is now seventh all-time in program history.

Bryce Greene finished with a team-high 22 points and five rebounds. Classmate
Connor Moffatt was right on his tail with 19 points, while sophomore
Zach Nannen tallied 13 points and a team-high six rebounds.
Sophomore Jordan Shewbridge registered a game-high 27 points, going 11-21 from the floor and 5-15 from three. Junior William Afoakwah nearly had a 20-20 double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 20 rebounds.
After Lancaster Bible took a three point lead into the locker room at halftime, the Chargers wasted little time adding to their advantage in the second half, moving ahead by 10 (39-29) within the first three minutes of the start of the period.
The Blue Jays began to quickly chip away at the lead, and cut it to three after Nannen found Greene with a quick pass and the easy layup, bringing the score to 39-36 in favor of the visitors with 14:26 on the clock.
Green continued to lead the attack and completed an and-one to bring the score to level at 41 with 13:14 remaining in the half.
The two teams continued to battle, swapping the lead four times, before the two teams found themselves knotted at 63 with 18 seconds left in regulation. After a timeout by Elizabethtown with 13 seconds left, Nannen managed to find space at the top of the arc for a game winning three, but missed, forcing the Blue Jays second overtime game of the season.

Ethan DuBois and Green gave Elizabethtown a three-point lead, and the Blue Jays road that lead to the milestone victory for Moore.
Elizabethtown shot 45.9% (28-61) from the field and made 4-15 (26.7%) from three. The Chargers finished 30-69 (43.5%) from the floor and shot 32.1% (9-28) from three.
The Blue Jays dive back into Landmark Conference play this Saturday, Jan. 11, when they hit the road to take on Scranton. Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.
