HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Elizabethtown College men's basketball team earned its third Landmark Conference win of the season, topping Juniata, 49-45, Wednesday night.
With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 10-7 on the season and 3-4 in league play. The Eagles fall to 4-14 overall and 1-6 in the Landmark.

Connor Moffatt registered his fifth consecutive double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Freshman
Wyatt Hockenberry finished with 11 points, while senior
Ethan DuBois tallied eight points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Senior Jake Holsopple netted a team-high 12 points and sophomore John Kelly has 11 points and seven rebounds.
Holding a three point lead at 14-11 with under 10 minutes to play in the first half, the Blue Jays went on a 10-0 run to go up 24-11, capped off by a three pointer from Moffatt with 4:48 on the clock.
Juniata answered with a 9-2 rally to end the half, and cut Elizabethtown's advantage to six (26-20) heading into the locker room.
The Blue Jays pushed its lead back to 10 in the opening four minutes of the second half, as DuBois banged a three to make the score 33-23.
Elizabethtown continued to keep the Eagles at arms-length until Holsopple hit a three pointer with four minutes remaining to make the score 45-41.
Juniata continued to inch closer, turning it into a one possession game after two free throws from Kelly with 44 seconds remaining.
The home team had an opportunity to tie the game, but Moffatt grabbed the rebound off a missed shot with two seconds left and iced the game from the line, helping the Blue Jays to the 49-45 victory.
Elizabethtown shot 30.9% (17-55) from the floor and made 4-15 (26.7%) from three. The Eagles finished 16-49 (32.7%) overall and were 20% (3-15) from three.
The Blue Jays return to Thompson Gymnasium to take on Scranton this Saturday, Feb. 1. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
