TOWSON, Md. – The Elizabethtown men's basketball team locked up its first Landmark Conference win of the season, topping Goucher 86-64 on the road Wednesday night.
With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 8-5 overall and 1-2 in the Landmark, while the Gophers fall to 3-11 on the season and 0-3 in the league.

Connor Moffatt registered his fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Senior
Bryce Greene tallied 13 points, moving him into a three way tie for 28
th in program history with 1,089 career points. Sophomore
Zach Nannen dropped 14 points and grabbed five boards while senior
Ethan DuBois finished just shy of a triple-double, dishing out 10 assists, grabbing nine rebounds and scoring eight points.
Goucher was led by sophomore Cam Isaacs with 15 points while junior Timmy O'Farrell came off the bench to finish with 13 points.
Elizabethtown creeped out to a six-point lead in the opening eight minutes of the game, as Greene knocked down a jumper from inside to paint to make the score 20-14 with 12:24 on the clock.
The Blue Jays pushed its advantage to 10 thanks to DuBois connecting with freshman
Wyatt Hockenberry who laid it in for the easy two, giving Elizabethtown a 26-16 lead with just over 5:30 remaining in the half. The Blue Jays held onto the 10 point cushion, holding a 39-29 lead going into the locker room.
Elizabethtown pushed its advantage to 22 (53-31) in the first five minutes of the second half and continued to roll to its first Landmark victory of the season, finishing off the big win, 86-64.
For the game, the Blue Jays shot 54.8% (34-62) from the field and made 7-13 (53.8%) from three. The Gophers finished 22-70 (31.4%) overall and were 28.6% (10-35) from three. Elizabethtown absolutely dominated in the pain, outscoring the home team 50-10.
