SCRANTON, Pa. – In the team's second Landmark Conference game of the season, the Elizabethtown men's basketball team fell to Scranton, 91-60, Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 7-5 on the season and 0-2 in league play, while the Royals improve to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in the Landmark.

Wyatt Hockenberry finished with a team-high 17 points and two steals while senior
Ethan DuBois racked up 11 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Logan Bailey dropped a game-high 25 points while dishing out seven assists. Matthew Mancuso tallied a double-double, pouring in 23 points with 14 rebounds and four blocks.

Bryce Greene and sunk a jumper to give Elizabethtown a five-point lead (17-12) with 11:24 remaining in the opening period.
After swapping the lead with Scranton, Elizabethtown moved back in front by five thanks to five straight points by Hockenberry capped off by layup with just over five minutes remaining to make the score 32-27.
With the Royals leading by one, Greene drained a jumper in the paint, giving the Blue Jays a one point advantage (37-36) advantage going into the locker room.
Scranton took control of the game from the jump in the second half, going on an 18-1 run to start the period to run out to the 54-38 lead. The Royals never looked back from that point, locking up their 10
th win of the season, 91-60.
Elizabethtown shot 33.9% (21-62) over all and made 4-15 (26.7%) from three. Scranton made 50% (31-62) of its shots from the field while shooting 37.5% (9-24) from three. The Royals found their advantage in the second half, holding the Blue Jays to only seven total field goals.
Elizabethtown remains on the road this Wednesday, Jan 15, when they travel to Towson, Md. to take on Goucher. Opening tip is set for 7 p.m.
