ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown women's volleyball pushed its winning streak to 10 games, topping Clarks Summit and Mount Aloysius in straight sets in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.
With the two wins, the Blue Jays improve to 11-1 and are off to their best start to a season since 2006.

Elle Shatto combined to hit .319 with 18 kills while sophomore
Shelly Yohe hit .343 with a5 kills. Freshman
Sarah Hanks registered 28 assists and 13 digs while junior
Aiyana Tietze-Di Toro tallied 25 digs.

- SET ONE: The Blue Jays hustled out to a five point lead in the opening, taking a 10-5 advantage after a kill by freshman Bryanna Miller. The Defenders closed within three at 14-11 before Elizabethtown rattled off nine straight points on its way to taking the opening set 25-14.
- SET TWO: The Blue Jays to control of the second set from the jump thanks two four aces by Shatto, helping Elizabethtown race out to a 5-0 lead. The home team then locked up the set at 11-6, scoring eight straight for the 19-6 lead, propelling the Blue Jays to the 25-8 win.
- SET THREE: Elizabethtown had to work to close things out in the final set as the score was tied at 11 midway through the third. The Blue Jays would dominate from this point forward, outscoring Clarks Summit 14-2 the rest of the way for the 25-13 win and a sweep of the Defenders.

- SET ONE: Elizabethtown flew out to a five point, scoring the five points of the opening set. The Mounties battled back to tie the score at 12 after a kill by Michala Gibbons and then took a two point lead at 17-15. The Blue Jays then forced a Mount Aloysius timeout, tallying six of the next seven points for the 21-18 advantage. The Mounties closed within two (23-21), but not closer as Elizabethtown took the first set 25-21.
- SET TWO: The Blue Jays cruised out to a big lead again, holding a 10-4 lead after a kill by Shatto. The Mounties charged back, going on a 7-1 run to tie the score and force an Elizabethtown timeout. The two teams continued to battle as Mount Aloysius held a two point advantage late (20-18) after a kill by Gibbons. The Blue Jays however stole the momentum back, finishing off the second set with a 7-1 rally for the 25-21 win.
- SET THREE: Elizabethtown kept the moment in the final set of the day, racing out to an 11-5 lead in the third. The Mounties closed within two (11-9), before the Blue Jays ended any thoughts of a fourth set, scoring 14 of the 16 final points for the 25-13 win and the 3-0 victory.
