GETTYSBURG – Senior Elle Shatto was named to the Battlefield Classic All-Tournament Team as the women's volleyball team scored two 3-1 victories over Gallaudet and Dickinson Saturday morning.

With the two wins the Blue Jays improve to 3-1 on the season. It is the first time since 2015 that the program has started the season 3-1.

Shatto finished the day hitting .250 with 30 kills, five aces and 22 digs. Sophomore Shelly Yohe hit .386 with 19 kills while junior Aiyana Tietze-Di Toro registered 48 digs. Freshman Sarah Hanks combined for a team-high 41 assists.

MATCH ONE: Elizabethtown 3 Gallaudet 1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-16)

MATCH TWO: Elizabethtown 3 Dickinson 1 (25-21, 25-21, 12-25, 25-22)

Elizabethtown returns to Thompson Gymnasium for its home opener on Wednesday, September 4. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
