HOW IT HAPPENED
- York (Pa.) (16-1) had a 4-0 lead after the first quarter as they forced Elizabethtown (8-7) into nine turnovers in the first 15 minutes and only allowed three shots to the Blue Jays.
- Down 6-0, Richter took advantage of a man-up opportunity to net his 18th of the season on a feed from Nick Cost to make it 6-1.
- The Spartans scored a minute later and had a 7-1 advantage at halftime.
- Cost tallied his ninth of the year in the third quarter with 1:16 left, unassisted, to make it 10-2.
- The Blue Jays started the fourth with a pair of goals coming from Watts (man-up) and Richter's second of the game. Mike Scrafano assisted on Watts' 17th of the season and Mike DiGenova had the helper on Richter's 19th.
