ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Eight different players recorded goals and of the 13 goals for the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team, 10 were assisted in a 13-3 win over Drew Saturday afternoon at Wolf Field. The win secured a Landmark Conference playoff spot for the Blue Jays.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-
Nick Cost scored goal No. 7 of the year 1:08 into the game unassisted to put Elizabethtown (7-6, 3-1 Landmark) ahead 1-0 right away.
-
Wes Mills forced a turnover in the Blue Jays' defensive third and after picking up the ground ball,
Jeff Bloom dished off to
Alex Klipple and continued his run down the field. Klipple returned the ball to Bloom, who struck for his first of the season and second of his career at 10:17 to make it 2-0.
- E-town took to it defensively in the opening quarter, not allowing a single shot by Drew (1-13, 0-4 Landmark) and creating nine turnovers.
- Richter and DiGenova (2) also buried goals into the Rangers' net in the final 3:26 of the opening quarter and EC went 5-0 into the second.
- Though the scoring pace slowed, the only goal of the second quarter belonged to Elizabethtown and
Ryan Field. Field's second of the year came on a feed down low by goal from
Cameron Goodling.
- Field added an assist in the third quarter, passing off to Klipple inside. The senior found space, received Field's pass, and turned it loose on frame and found the twine for the first of his Elizabethtown career to make it 8-0. His goal came after
Scott Nizolak opened the third quarter with his 10th of the year 1:05 into the period.
- The Rangers were able to get on the board with goals from Kyle MacDonnell and Thomas Garner.
Andrew Watts and Richter also had goals in the third for E-town.
