GRANTHAM, Pa. -- Ahead by a run in the eighth inning, Messiah tied it up and then went on to defeat the Elizabethtown College baseball team in the ninth with a walkoff hit to end the game, 7-6.
Anthony Knight had a pair of RBIs for the Blue Jays.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Messiah (7-13) had an early lead on a fielder's choice RBI in the third inning.

Andrew Fisher was credited with the RBI after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to tie the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth.

Arley Shepherd,
Tyler McGonigle, and Knight each picked up an RBI in the same inning as Elizabethtown (6-14) went in front, 4-1.
- The Falcons got two runs back in the fifth inning to tie the game for a second time and took the lead in the sixth on an RBI double.
- The Blue Jays made it level at 5-5 in the seventh and Knight's bases loaded walk gave E-town the lead back at 6-5.
- An RBI base hit in the eighth for Messiah tied the game at 6-6.
- With a runner in scoring position, the game-winning run was brought him on a single down the right field line in the bottom of the ninth.
