Three Blue Jays earn Landmark Athlete of the Week honors

TOWSON, Md. -- Elizabethtown College had three different student-athletes earn Landmark Athlete of the Week in their respective sports. Alyssa Wilkinson was tabbed the conference's Pitcher of the Week, Mike Scrafano was named the MLAX Offensive Athlete of the Week, and Riley McGinley was selected as the Baseball Player of the Week.

BASEBALL
McGinley helped the Blue Jays sweep Muskingum on Sunday with two wins, one in come-from-behind fashion. Between the two-game set, McGinley was 5-for-8 with 6 RBIs. He went 3-for-4 and 2-for-4 in consecutive games and also drove in multiple RBIs in each as the baseball team won its first two of the year.

MEN'S LACROSSE
Scrafano played a huge role in E-town's 12-11 win over Messiah on Saturday. Scrafano recorded a career-high 5 goals, including two in man-up situations. The juniors fifth of the game was the eventual game-winner. He also had an assist and finished the game with a career-best 6 points. Scrafano, who also scored for the Jays in Wednesday's loss at #9 Dickinson, has posted a goal in each of Elizabethtown's first four games.

SOFTBALL
Wilkinson, who had a phenomenal spring break last season that included a perfect game, earned her first win of the year in her first start for the Blue Jays. Wilkinson shut down Rosemont over five innings, only allowing one run and four hits as E-town won easily, 10-1. She struck out four batters in the game.
