BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's tennis team led after doubles play on Saturday against Moravian, but the Greyhounds came back to win five of six singles matches to beat the Blue Jays 6-3.
Colby Martin was a winner in both doubles and singles for E-town.
Initially down one after first doubles finished with a win for Moravian (7-3, 1-0 Landmark),
Michael Ryzuk and
Alec Schneider won at No. 3 doubles to tie the match at 1-1. Elizabethtown (1-3, 0-1 Landmark) then grabbed a 2-1 lead after Martin and doubles partner
Evan Winters won 8-5, same as Ryzuk and Schneider's winning score.
The Greyhounds won the first five completed singles matches to ensure the match victory. Martin won 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 at No. 4 singles to bring the final to 6-3.
Elizabethtown hosts Lebanon Valley on Tuesday, March 26, at 3:30 p.m.
