BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Josh McLaughlin, Colton Rex, Josh Paisley, and Elijah Flasher all finished in podium positions for the Elizabethtown College wrestling team this weekend at the 2019 Division III Mideast Regional hosted by the College of Brockport. Rex was the team's highest finisher for the weekend.

McLaughlin made his way to the 5th place match on Sunday and took on SUNY Cortland's Mikey Smith. McLaughlin, at 125, would finish sixth after Smith's 8-4 decision over the sophomore. Rex would take fifth at 133 after earning his spot in the 5th place match along with SUNY Cortland's Matt Maquet.

Paisley competed for the Blue Jays in the 7th place match at 149 and scored a 12-6 decision over Merchant Marine's Chad Puglio to take seventh. Flasher made it to the 7th place match at 197. RIT's John Donohue earned a pin fall victory over the junior and Flasher took eight in the weight class.

Elizabethtown finished 13th out of 17 at the regional meet with a total of 37 points.
