TOWSON, Md. – Senior Connor Moffatt was named Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week after leading the Blue Jays to a comeback win against Wilson Saturday afternoon, announced by the organization Monday afternoon.

Moffatt finished the season opener with a game-high 23 points and eight rebounds to carry Elizabethtown back from a 14-point, second half deficit for the 82-77 victory over the Phoenix.

This is the second time the senior has received the weekly award in his career. Moffatt earned the weekly honor during his junior season after draining a buzzer-beating three pointer to beat then No. 25 ranked Scranton, 67-64.

The Blue Jays hit the road for the first time this season on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Penn State Berks. Opening tip is set for 8 p.m.
