ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The men's soccer team locked up its fourth Landmark Conference win of the season, topping Moravian, 5-2, Wednesday night on Ira R. Herr Field.

With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 10-4-1 overall and 4-1 in the Landmark, while the Greyhounds fall to 9-5-1 on the season and 3-2 in the conference. It is Elizabethtown's fifth straight season with 10 wins.
Senior
JD Haaf finished with two goals and an assist and sophomore Garrett WInchilla register two goals of his own. Senior
Connor Rathsam tallied the Blue Jays' other goal, while freshman
Mehluko Letsoalo recorded his first career assists.
Junior Ethan Blakely and sophomore Anthony Nagy each scored for Moravian.
Rathsam got the ball rolling for Elizabethtown as he dribbled into the Greyhounds' attacking third in the 14th minute. He slipped past a defender and fired a shot into the lower left corner for the first goal of the game and the early one goal advantage.
Winchilla pushed the Blue Jays' advantage to two in the 25th minute as he dribbled down the right side into the Moravian penalty box. Winchilla cranked a service across the front of the goal and deflected off a defender into the back of the net for the 2-0 lead.
Elizabethtown looked headed to halftime with a two goal lead, but freshman
Aidan Poley managed to draw a penalty kick with eight seconds remaining in the opening stanza. Haaf stepped up to the penalty spot and slotted it into the left corner, making the halftime score 3-0.
After the Greyhounds responded with a Blakely goal in the 61
st minute, Winchilla answer with his second of the game. Letsoalo found Haaf with a pass down the right side who took a touch and found Winchilla with a cross to left side. WInchilla cut the ball back and fired a shot into the right corner, pushing the Blue Jays' lead back to three.
Moravian once again moved within two in the 69th minute, but Haaf put the game out of reach in the 89
th minute as he curled a free kick into the left side of the goal, making the final score 5-2.
Freshman
Kelvin Del Cid (10-5-1) made eight saves on 12 shots, allowing two goals.
Junior Michael Bone (8-3-1) made six saves on 23 shots, allowing five goals.
The Blue Jays play its final regular season road game of 2019 as they travel to Goucher on Saturday, October 26. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
