Rain forces changes to Landmark Baseball Championship

TOWSON, Md. -- With rain in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday, host Catholic University of America, in conjunction with the Landmark Conference, has added a second location and readjusted the schedule for this weekend's Landmark Baseball Championship tournament.

Elizabethtown, the No. 3 seed, will face No. 2 seed Susquehanna at Gallaudet University's Hoy Field (800 Florida Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002) on Friday at 10 a.m. The 24-win Blue Jays were originally scheduled to play the River Hawks at Catholic at 3:30 p.m.

Catholic, the top seed, hosts No. 4 Drew in the other 10 a.m. game at its home stadium, Talbot Field (620 Michigan Ave NE, Washington DC 20064).

The winners of the 10 a.m. games will meet at 2 p.m. on Catholic's Talbot Field, while the losers face off in an elimination game at the same time at Gallaudet. Gallaudet is only schedule to host games on Friday.

Tickets on Friday are $10 for adults and $5 for non-Landmark students and seniors (62+). On Saturday and Sunday, prices are $5 for adults and $3 for non-Landmark students and seniors. Landmark students/faculty/staff and children under 10 will be admitted FREE all weekend.
