Wrestling moves up start time vs. Shippensburg

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College wrestling team announced that the start time of Wednesday's match against Division II Shippensburg University has been moved up to a 5 p.m. start.

The match was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but with student-athletes and families traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, the teams agreed to the late afternoon start.

Elizabethtown brings a 1-0 dual record into the matchup against the Raiders after knocking off 14th-ranked York last Wednesday. The Blue Jays are coming off a team title at last weekend's Star City Open in Salem, Va., and have two duals and a tournament remaining in the fall semester as they look to state their case for consideration in the next NWCA National Poll, which will be released on Dec. 12.

Fans and followers who are unable to make it out to Thompson Gymnasium Wednesday evening can watch the match live on BlueJaysTV.
