SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Kirsten Peterson scored with 52 seconds left in the first overtime period to give Swarthmore College a 1-0 victory over Elizabethtown College in women's soccer action on Saturday night.

Peterson took a pass by Julia Luongo from midfield and notched her second goal of the season to give the Garnet (5-0 overall) the victory over the Blue Jays (1-2 overall).

Elizabethtown finished with a 17-9 advantage in shots over Swarthmore, while the Garnet posted a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.

Kristen Kelly made three saves in goal for the Blue Jays, while Marie Mutryn finished with seven stops for the Garnet.
