MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Laura Wingert scored the eventual game-winning goal with 9:59 left in the second half to lead Elizabethtown College to a 1-0 win over Millersville University in a non-conference women's soccer match on Saturday night at Chryst Field.

Wingert scored her second goal of the season off an assist by Ellen Parr to give the Blue Jays (5-5 overall) their third consecutive victory, each by a 1-0 score.

The teams played an even contest, with Millersville (2-9 overall) holding a slim 13-12 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Jess Manchak recorded her third shutout of the year for the Blue Jays by making five saves, while Brandi Tipton finished with four saves for the Marauders.
