Freshman Alexis Groce placed her name atop another event Saturday at the Susquehanna Open when she set her second school record of the indoor season, this one in the 400-meter dash.

Groce already owns the women's 500-meter dash record, which she set at the Bucknell Bison Open & Multi earlier this month. She placed third overall in the 400 Saturday and nearly became the first female athlete in program history to run sub-60 seconds in the event. Groce's final time was 1:00.12.

Prior to Saturday, Tina Bucci was in possession of the 400 record with a 1:00.42. Bucci also set it at Susquehanna during the 2006 MAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 25 of that year.
