Senior guard Kendra Beittel scored a season-high 21 points in the women's basketball team's 70-59 victory at Alvernia Saturday. Beittel drailed three 3-pointers and eight shots total in the win, which moved the Blue Jays record to 12-2 on the season. She also collected five rebounds and two assists.

Earlier in the week, in a one-point loss to Arcadia, the Hempfield grad had eight points, three boards and two assists.
