Elizabethtown College Athletics

Sophomore Abby Thrift of the Elizabethtown women's volleyball team had 45 kills over three matches in a 2-1 week for the Blue Jays.

Thrift registered 15 kills in each of E-town's matches, all career-highs. She hit better than .260 in wins over Widener and Gettysburg. Thrift, from Sykesville, Md., also had 11 digs and six blocks for the week.
