Senior Taylor Alwine was named Terry Greene Memorial Tournament MVP after leading the women's basketball team to a pair of wins to open the 2014-15 season.

Alwine scored a career-high 30 points Saturday evening in a 62-56 victory over Marywood, going 11-of-15 from the floor (73.3%) and connecting on all eight of her free throws. The senior forward also had nine boards, two assists and three steals.

In Sunday's championship win over Hood, Alwine scored 12 of her team-high 16 points before halftime as E-town opened up a double-digit lead. She finished 6-of-12 from the floor and was again perfect at the charity stripe, going 4-for-4. Alwine added her second nine-rebound game of the weekend, just missing out on a pair of double-doubles.
