Elizabethtown College Athletics

Amanda Gretz enters her third year as the Director of Athletic Communications for Elizabethtown in 2024-25. 

Gretz was most recently named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, which honors recognize emerging athletics communications professionals at all levels of college sports in strategic, creative and digital spaces.

Gretz is currently CSC Academic All-America committee member. 

In 2023-24, Gretz was recognized for her a non-gameday graphic submitted to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) in the Creative & Digital Design Contest. Her design of former Etown baseball player, Ben Watson in the NCAA DIII National Rankings earned the recognition of one of the "Best of Division III". 

Prior to Etown, Gretz spent the 2021-22 season at Stevenson University as the Assistant Athletic Communications Director. She served as primary contact for 10 teams while also facilitating the creative and social media effort of the department. Before Stevenson, Gretz worked in the Landmark Conference at Juniata College for four years as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. Outside of her normal responsibilities, she assisted in hosting numerous Landmark and NCAA Championship events.

Gretz has served as the Sports Information Director for the Landmark Conference Swimming and Diving Championships since 2018. She also assisted Juniata in hosting an NCAA women's volleyball regional in 2018.  In 2018-19 the Juniata Athletic Communications staff was honored by the AVCA for its coverage of women's volleyball that season.

Gretz, an Elkridge, Maryland native, graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. in May 2017 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Marketing.  She was a four-year member of the swim team while at St. Vincent. Gretz completed her Master's in Organizational Leadership from Juniata College in May 2022.
