High School: Captained wrestling team at Ephrata High School his senior year and won the 120-pound weight class at the Lancaster-Lebanon League Championships...First L-L weight class champion at his school since 2008...Went 28-3 as a senior with 41 takedowns and a team-high 21 pins...Also led the team in falls (14) as a junior, while compiling a 29-6 record...Won more than 20 matches in each of his four years (21-13 as a sophomore and 23-8 as a freshman)...Career record of 101-30 with 58 falls, three tech falls and 128 takedowns...Became the seventh wrestler in EHS history to join the 100-win club and ranks tied for sixth in career wins...Three-time Merv Witmer Award recipient as the team's most outstanding wrestler (2009-10, 2011-12 and 2012-13)...The year he didn't earn the award, Elizabethtown teammates Chad Lammer and Mike Lammer split it (2010-11)...Finished runner-up in the L-L Championships at 120 as a junior and sixth at 119 as a sophomore...Twice a placewinner at sectionals (runner-up in 2012, third in 2010).
