Kyle Coblentz enters his seventh season as a member of the Elizabethtown College wrestling coaching staff in 2021.

Coblentz wrestled at Messiah College where he compiled a 69-49 record from 2010-14. He captured the 133-pound title at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Championships as a junior (2012-13) and took third in the same weight class at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships as a senior (2013-14), helping the Falcons to conference titles each season.

In addition to his third-place finish at MACs, Coblentz also placed third at the Petrofes Invitational and fourth at both the Messiah Invitational and Roger Williams Invitational during the 2013-14 season. It wound up being Coblentz's best season on the mat, as he finished with a 32-15 record and 10 pins.

Coblentz is originally from Blue Ball, Pa., and graduated from Garden Spot High School prior to embarking on his collegiate career. While at Garden Spot, he was a three-time District 3 Class AAA qualifier and won 120 matches. Coblentz also qualified for the PIAA state championships as a senior.

Coblentz earned his bachelor's degree in health and exercise science from Messiah in 2014.
