Paige Weber, who played for the Blue Jays from 2007-10, finished her third season as an assistant coach on Kathy Staib's staff in 2016.
Weber started each of the 136 games she played over the course of her career. The Jays' everyday shortstop, she was a three-time All-Commonwealth Conference selection. Weber was named First Team in 2009 for a junior season which saw her hit a career best .363, while leading the team in triples (four), home runs (three), runs batted in (20), walks (17), total bases (59), on base percentage (.454) and slugging percentage (.578), and co-leading the team with five doubles.
In 2008 and 2010, Weber received All-Commonwealth Conference Second Team accolades. Weber and the Blue Jays won 58 games and made three postseason appearances in her four seasons donning blue and gray. E-town finished as the Commonwealth Conference Runner-up in 2008.
Weber's seven triples during the 2010 season rank tied for second most in a season in program history. Her 27-RBI freshman season is still the ninth best in a season amongst Blue Jay hitters. For her career, Weber ranks tied for second in runs batted in (81), second in triples (15), tied for second in walks (62), sixth in runs scored (87), seventh in hits (132), eighth in doubles (23) and tied for eighth in home runs (seven).
The former Paige Tanner is married to Aaron Weber, a former men's lacrosse standout for the Blue Jays.
